                                         "Do" Verb

1. I think that + S + V  (options = not sure).
ex) I think (that) English   is   confusing but fan.
                         S            V    O
Teacher : Have you seen Jenny?
Student   : No, I haven't
                 I think that she went out.

2. Do you think S + V (asking the opinion of another person. Answer Yes/No)

Do you think Cebu is better than Baguio.
A1 : Yes, I think Cebu is better than Baguio.
A2 : No, I don't think Cebu is better than Baguio.

Don't you think married women should work?
No , I think married women should not work.
yes, I don't think married should work.

3. What makes you think S + V ?
(why do you think ?) = you want to know the reason

Woman1 : I think night market is better than in the shopping mall.
Woman2 : Oh really?
Woman1 : Yes
Woman2 : what makes you think night market is better?
Woman1 : I think It is better because you can see a variety of clothes in a low price.
 

I think Samsung Co is better to get a job because the salary is high.

I think having your own business is good for women.


4. I am thinking of + N or V - ing.

I'm planning something / deciding on something.


I'm thinking of ramen for lunch.

I'm thinking of traveling to Europe.


Now ~ (imagining) > doing the action at the moment of speaking.

Beth : I'm thinking of "Don Henricos"



5. I think the problem is (that) S + V

=>I think the problem of N Korea is Kim Jung Eun.


Richard  : My phone is not working.

Chad      : Why? What happend?

Richard  : I think the problem is the battery

Student   : I feel sad.

Teacher :  Oh, Why? what's the matter?

Student   : I always  forget vocabulary.
