                                                                  stop+ V-ing = Gerund

= The action is on going / continue.

= Can't help myself but + V

= keep on + V-ing.

ex) I can't stop watching Gangnam style.

I can't help myself but to watch Korea Drama.

 

ex) She loves fashion magazines.

she always buys them every month.

she can't stop buying them.

=> she keeps on buying them.

I can't stop sleeping.

2. S + can stop + V-ing = DISCONTINUE (not common)
